Band information

Extreme metal chaos from Brisbane, Defiled was originally a black metal band in the classic Norwegian style, somewhat ham-fisted but apparently improved considerably. Early shows often consisted of Norman and Michael cutting themselves up with "whatever was around", making their live shows a blood drenched reality. They then took a turn towards a more powerful and impressive death metal assault. Defiled split up after the Overcranked festival in June 2002 but then briefly reformed in 2003. Members of Defiled went on to play in Prophecy of Kaos.
