Hatchet Dawn is a band from Melbourne playing a style that combines Crowbar-like sludge with furious thrashing riffs and vocals like a cross between Devin Townsend and Rob Zombie. The band's five-track debute was recorded in 2007 with an almost completely different line-up to that which existed when it was released almost two years later. Howsie was a member of Terrorust briefly during 2006. Hatchet Dawn is opening for Marilyn Manson in October 2009.
