Aeturnus Dominion is an band from the NSW Central Coast playing a mixture of classic thrash and old school death metal. Most of the line-up had played together in various bands from the local area including Paen, Tritura, Jumpathug and Eternal Hate. Eventually Kronic was formed with Demented, Ozi and Rat and shortly afterward Jester joined the line-up, but Demented was injured in an accident and the band folded.
By late 2003 with Spud on second guitar, the group reformed, taking on the name Aeturnus Dominion and releasing the Semper Tyrannis CD, most of which was recorded by Jester and Demented. The band began playing live regularly on the Sydney circuit but both Rat (bass) and Spud quit the band suddenly. They were replaced by Thrax (guitar) and Lex (bass) from Eternal Hate, but Lex stayed only briefly and Spud rejoined, this time on bass.
They released a second album in late 2006 and toured nationally with Dubai band Nervecell in early 2007. As work began on a third album, Jester left the band for medical reasons.
