Degeneracy is a Sydney grindcore band whose members are drawn from an eclectic assortment of other groups: vocalist Simon was ex-[[Headmess]], Johnny from [[Hell City Glamours]], Griffin the drummer with '''28 Days''' and Pete the Punk from a hiphop crew. Their music is death-grind similar to '''Blood Duster''' meets '''Nasum''', with depraved lyrics. One album was released with a second completed. After a long break, the band began rehearsing once more in 2011. Strelein is now also with [[Celebrity Morgue]].
