Empyrean is Brisbane band that plays a stylish and modern symphonic death metal. Along with releasing their debut EP, the band supported '''Dark Tranquillity''' and '''Insision''' in 2006 and opened for '''Vader''' in 2007. During early 2008 the band began recording a full-length album with ex-[[Sakkuth]] member Adam Merker producing. ''Quietus'' was released in December 2008 and the band then toured widely throughout Australia.
