Obfuscate Mass was an early Brisbane death metal band. In 1992 they supported Pungent Stench before splitting up soon after.

-One of Brisbane's very first death metal exponents, Obfuscate Mass predates [[Misery]] in the extremity stakes from the Sunshine state. The band showed plenty of early promise and with Nyp stepping in for Tiplady, Obfuscate Mass supported '''Pungent Stench''' before internal disputes tore the band apart. Nyp formed [[Killengod]] shortly thereafter and after a long period away from music, Craig Richards joined [[Hollow]] in 2000. Yee is now with [[The Dead]].
