Band Information

Pain Division was formed in late 2005 by Dungeon guitarist Marshall, shortly before his former band folded. Dungeon/LORD drummer Yatras was also a member briefly but later joined LORD full-time. Before their first show in December 2005, the band changed name to 20 Grams, citing a move away from heavy metal to melodic hard rock. One time Harlots member and Hair of the Dog singer Howe replaced the original vocalist and in mid-2006 20 Grams supported Black Label Society in Sydney before reverting to the name Pain Division in November, apparently due to a shift back to heavier material.

After scoring a deal with Riot!, the band's album was released in mid-2007 and followed up shortly after by a Japanese tour. In November, Marshall issued a solo album called Altered States.

In February 2008 they will support Helloween in Sydney.
