Seraphic Behest was formed in 1997 by Nechustan on drums along with Kopp on guitar in the last days of high school. Shortly after Gamaliel joined to enable the possibility of live shows. In late 98 or early 99 , Seraphic Behest went to Range Recording in Grafton to record thier demo. 5 tracks down They then joined up with Rust and began to play live shows, although only a few, including visits to Sydney, Brisbane and the local area. The band then became defunct with Kopp, being the main song writer, moving to follow other interests. Seraphic Behest was reformed in 2005 by Nechustan and Gamaliel.
