Band Information

Walk the Earth formed in 2003 from members of several Melbourne bands. Ludbrook and Skitz came from Damaged, Norton from Superheist, DeSilva from Bison and Johnston from Down.To.Size. Even before the EP emerged, the band had worked solidly and already toured heavily with bands like Frankenbok and Daysend and appeared at the Canberra and Brisbane Metal for the Brain festivals in 2005. Musically, the band struck an interesting balance between early Superheist style grind and nu-metal.

After appearances with Slipknot and Mudvayne and extensive east coast touring, Ludbrook left the band somewhat acrimoniously in mid-2005. Walk the Earth announced a search for a new vocalist but swiftly came to an end. Norton was reportedly working on new Superheist material by late 2005 and Skitz and Ludbrook formed Terrorust.

By 2007 however, Walk the Earth had reformed with Norton, Sanders and DeSilva joined by Steve Watts (ex-Manticore) on bass and Adam Kingsley on vocals, although Sanders and Watts have since both left and are currently with Terrorust.
