Band Information
Massive Appendage was one of the bands at the forefront of Sydney's thrash scene in the last half of the 1980s. The band tore through high quality intricate speedy thrash metal with a high degree of satirical humour. Several members were also concurrently members of King's Cross and Fester Fanatics; the three bands were more or less off-shoots of each other, with virtually the same members (Fester Fanatics was practically Massive Appendage with a different singer), playing slightly different styles of music.
Starr went on to join Killing Time in 1989 and later formed Starworld.
Drummer and reknown metal scene artist Oxx died in 1996.
