Not to be confused with the Sydney death metal band, this Persecution was a short-lived thrash and death act from Frankston. Originally called No Remorse (Vic) for a short time and released a demo in 1989 with Anthony 'Nats' on vocals and Paul Shirt (Sanctum) on drums. The name changed in 1990 and a new demo was released with Jezz now on vocals. This demo got a lot of attention but nothing came of it. Merm, Jezz and Bo played in Dehumanizer in 2009-2010. Merm Sauzier died after a long battle with cancer in March 2010. Bo Remy is currently a member of Hobbs Angel of Death.
