The band's first release surfaced in 2010 and during the next year they supported bands like The Nation Blue, Russian Circles and Doomriders. After being picked up by German label Pelagic, the band released Look and Behold in late 2011. During 2012 they supported The Ocean and Russian Circles once again and headlined Slaughterfest in July. The band's second album appeared in early 2013 and Lo! toured Europe with The Ocean and Cult of Luna. In mid-2014 Lo! toured with Corrosion of Conformity. Jamie-Leigh Smith was replaced by Sam Dillon in time for the 2015 EP, The Tongueless.
During 2022 Lo! appeared at Blacken Open Air and The Gleaners was released mid-2023, followed by a national tour. Late in 2023 they toured with The Amenta.
