Leicohtica was a band from Wagga Wagga playing symphonic black metal. The band released a debut EP in 2004 In Torment's Garden and Rhys Mottley replaced Ben Waldron prior to its release.
The band undertook a large-scale tour during early 2008 and in early 2009 opened for Whitechapel and played a show with The Berzerker and The Amenta. The band began to develop its symphonic style with the departure of Jen Mcaffrie (for Lycanthia) and Chris Orchard and Scott Bromley adding violin, but had split up by 2010. Tristan Tait was later with Elysian.
