Band information
Heavy sludge/hardcore hybrid formed in Sydney in 2015. After the first EP was released, Black Rheno toured nationally and played shows with the likes of King Parrot. In 2017 they toured heavily, doing the Thrash Blast Grind tour with King Parrot, Psycroptic and Revocation, another national tour with Hadal Maw and also with Napalm Death and Lock Up and appearing at Brisbane's Dead of Winter fest.
Noise Smasher was released in 2019 and followed by shows in Japan and a tour with Eyehategod that November. A mid-2020 tour was cancelled because of COVID restrictions, but early 2022 Black Rheno is touring once again.
