Band Information
Orpheus was a melodic death metal band Melbourne band playing melodic death metal. The band opened for Amon Amarth during 2009, and completed an EP. In 2011 released their debut album that featured contributions from members of Black Majesty and Mors Principum Est. Keswick Gallagher replaced original keys player Sasha Brangana in 2011 and in 2012 the band supported Amon Amarth for a second time and later in the year recorded a live DVD and appeared at the Sonic Forge Festival. In early 2013, Orpheus completed their second album and announced in late April that the band was changing its name to Orpheus Omega.
