Band information
In late 2005, Stavreski put together one final Celestial line-up for an appearance at a show called Under Raven Skies. After this, he moved base to Goulburn and formed Norse in early 2006. Treelo was originally the bass player but when Mark left he moved to guitar. After Saleem's departure in early 2008, both guitarists went to sharing vocals after a while and looked towards writing an album release. During 2009 Norse was kept fairly busy on the NSW live circuit and drummer Frog also became a member of The Amenta. Since Schmoo's departure to drum for Bowral tech-death metal act Synperium, Gav Miller (also of Synperium) played live session bass until Kendall Drury was recruited in mid 2010.
In March 2010, the Hellstorm album was released and a video for 'Father of the Norns' was shot around the scenic landscapes of the Southern Highlands, NSW. By 2011 Treelo and Frog were the only permanent members left in the band and they played a support slot with Darkest Hour and Carnifex. Querruel from MurderWorld is currently performing as a live member of Norse. A second album is being prepared.
