Band information
Aphotic Dawn is a Melbourne based death metal band, the brainchild of guitarist James Lowe. To realise the full potential of the project Lowe recruited Brendan Brown and Daniel Presland from Ne Obliviscaris. Ben Boyle of Sclera/A Million Dead Birds Laughing (AMDBL) completed the line-up.
After hitting the live scene in late 2007, Aphotic Dawn supported Kataklysm and Psycroptic. The band released a demo in 2006 and were planning an album, but played their final show on October 9, 2009.
