Band Information

Mephistopheles is Hobart a technical death metal band with a jazz influence. The band toured the east coast in early 2005 and also supported Disgorge before releasing a full-length CD in late 2006. Ex-Psycroptic vocalist Matthew Chalk joined the band in 2009 and original member Julz Dowson departed the following year to be replaced by James Excell. A second album was released in October 2013 and supported by a tour of the south-east.
