Band Information
Miscreation was a death metal band that formed in late 1998 as something of an extension of the former Objective Zero line-up that featured Rick Fensom, Matt Lawrence, Shane Pleasance, Pete O’Donohue and Gordon Caruana. When Mark "Karkuss" Appleton replaced Lawrence the band changed from Objective Zero to Miscreation. Fensom left the band in late 1999 and was replaced by Frank Munoz, ex-Lord Kaos and Neuropath, although his stay was short and the band stayed as a four piece for some time.
An EP was to be released on Venomous in 2000 but Miscreation became linked to a Portugese label and were looking to record a full length album in the US in early 2002 instead. However at this point several members left the band and by late 2002 only O'Donohue remained. Some months later the line-up reformed and the band featured at the Bloodlust Festival in June 2003 as well as some supports with Incantation. Chad Halford left the band in September 2003 and Appleton resigned in mid-2004 after the launch of the album. Bubsie from Ebolie stood in for subsequent live shows with Exhumed and Miscreation ended.
