Featuring members of [[Insidious Torture]] and [[A Million Dead Birds Laughing]], Whoretopsy is a Melbourne blast band. The album was recorded using a drum machine but Matt Giles features in the live band.
Featuring members of [[Insidious Torture]] and [[A Million Dead Birds Laughing]], Whoretopsy is a Melbourne death metal band formed in 2011 by AJ and Matt Storma. ''They Did Unspeakable Things'' was recorded using a drum machine but Matt Giles joined soon after. They opened for '''Dying Fetus''' and '''Putrid Pile''' in May 2013. Following that, Jake Sproule of [[The Seraphim Veil]] joined as the band's drummer and AJ departed, leaving Whoretopsy as a four piece until the following year when Chris Paras and Brenton Marsh (also of [[The Seraphim Veil]]) were added to the line-up. By now Whoretopsy had become a slightly more technical, thrashy death metal band. After the ''While You Were Sleeping'' EP the line-up changed further with Ryan Frost replacing Lachlan Eddy and William Cooper taking over from Brenton Marsh. Cooper and Frost only remained for a short time as Eddy returned and Luke Graham joined. In April 2017, Whoretopsy featured at [[Blacken Open Air]] and toured with the Thrash, Blast Grind tour. The following year Storma departed and Zac Bergholtz took over on vocals for ''Take My Breath Away''.
