Denouncement Pyre is a Black/Death metal band originally formed under the name Eradicator in 2003. The original line up was Decaylust (guitars, bass, vocals) and J. Eradicator (drums).When Volcano of [[Abominator]] joined, J. Eradicator switched to guitar and the band name was changed to Denouncement Pyre.

''The Storm to End All Wars'' demo of 2004 was followed by a live recording titled ''Barbaric Vengeance'' issued on cassette in mid-2005. In the same year, the band recorded a 7" EP titled ''Under the Aegis of Damnation'' that was released by Apocalyptor Records the following year. Also 2006 included the recording of a mini-CD which was released through Forgotten Wisdom Productions titled ''Hell's Infantry'', released August '06.  
 
In January 2008 the mCD was re-mastered and re-issued on vinyl in the form of a split LP with '''Diocletain''' from New Zealand, entitled ''Chaos Rising'' and again handled by Forgotten Wisdom. The start of 2008 also saw the recording of a new 7" titled ''Circle of the Black Flame'' which was released in September of that year, also on Forgotten Wisdom Productions. In early 2010 the first full-length album ''World Cremation'' was completed and released in August on Hells Headbangers Records.
