Elysium was a Sydney band that played massively slow and epic doom band from Sydney. The group formed in 1994, originally with Beau Dyer on drums but it was the line-up of Gould, Prickett, Vickery and Fratini that released a self-titled demo in 1996. A short time later the band folded, with Vickery later forming [[Decayed Divinity]], but before long Elysium reformed. Beau rejoined as bass player and Marsh from [[Lord Kaos]] linked up as the band's vocalist at the same time. Guy Moore served briefly as second keyboard player.
