White Widdow is a melodic hard rock band formed in early 2008 by guitarist Enzo Almanzi from Van Halen tribute band X-Halen with vocalist Julez Mephisto and bassist Trent "Trixxi" Wilson from The Deadthings. The line up was completed with two time ARIA nominee Xavier Millis (Weapon X) on keyboards (Brother of Vocalist Julez Mephisto). White Widdow play a melodic, arena style of hard rock reminiscent of Australian AOR band Roxus and Scandinavian AOR bands such as Treat, that fuses classic keyboard driven AOR with the pop-metal edge of artists such as Danger Danger.
White Widdow launched themselves onto Australia's live scene May 2008 in Melbourne at St Kilda's Esplanade Hotel and have played steadily since both in Melbourne and Interstate alongside bands such as LORD, The Deadthings, Catwitch, Spitfire Rain, Teargas and Nobody's Fool among others. A Digital EP available for Free Download was made available in July 2009 which received a stellar review in Europe's Powerplay rock magazine.
