Band Information

This is a brutal death metal band from Adelaide featuring players from other prominent local acts. Slaughter Thou was formed in 1999 by Don Taylor of Martire with Ben and Adam of Deluge. DEADpool guitarist Shane Dedrick and ex-vocalist Tony Waters plus Deluge singer Greg Pikl and Justin Wood from One Step Beyond had all joined the band by the end of 2000, giving Slaughter Thou a ferocious twin-vocal death metal assault. At times the band’s music is somewhat chaotic and the lyrics focus on World War I virtually exclusively.

After the recording of "The ANZAC Hammer" Pikl left Slaughter Thou and the band has been inactive since. Taylor has more recently involved himself in Tzun Tzu.
