Band Information
Aversions Crown is a deathcore band from Brisbane, utilizing extremely down-tuned eight-string guitars and deep, gutteral vocals. During 2012 the band featured at most dates on the Bastardfest tour. In mid-2013 they toured nationally with Thy Art is Murder, Cattle Decapitation and King Parrot. A tour with Oceano and Feed Her to the Sharks followed in October and the band toured Europe with Thy Art is Murder in January 2014. An Australian tour with The Acacia Strain followed later that year, after which the band signed a deal with Nuclear Blast. They then toured with DevilDriver and Whitechapel before releasing Tyrant at the end of 2014. In early 2015 Colin Jeffs left the band right before a European tour and was replaced by Mark Poida. Aversions Crown toured Europe then returned to Australia for shows with Psycroptic and Goatwhore, followed by a national tour with Attila. Mid-year they toured through Europe and Australia with Thy Art is Murder and Feed Her to the Sharks.
