Deprivation hail from Orange NSW. This melodic thrash five piece have toured the country extensively since beginning in 2006. In 2008 they released an EP, "Re-Birth", and shared the stage with a string of local metal and alternative acts including [[The Amenta]], [[The Berzerker]], [[Daysend]], [[Five Star Prison Cell]], '''Frenzal Rhomb''', [[Karnivool]] and even '''Laura Imbruglia'''. A full-length album was released in 2011 and the following year Deprivation toured the US with [[4ARM]]. After this tour, Albie Bevan departed and Deprivation was forced off the road until [[Tortured]]/ex-[[Templestowe]] drummer Chris Vandermark joined in 2013.

DepriVation is a modern thrash band from Orange. Formed in 2005 by various members of bands like '''Bad Omen''' and [[Ascending Ashes]], the group managed third place in a regional band contest during 2006 and played regularly in Sydney throughout 2007. Late that year Albie Bevan joined on drums and the "Skies Are Falling" demo emerged. Since then Brock from [[Code of Lies]] has joined the band and in late 2008 they played some regional shows with [[Frankenbok]]. Damien Harrison departed in late 2009 to be replaced by Swann and Brock has also since left.
