The Veil's debut international support came in October 2011, joining '''Alcest''' for the Sydney date of their Australian tour. The band's debut album "Ghosts of Memory" was released soon after in November 2011, receiving strong reviews both locally and overseas.

In 2012, The Veil made their first international live appearance at Dublin Doom Days fest in Ireland, appearing alongside '''Pantheist''', '''Solstice''', '''Hour Of 13''' and '''The Wounded Kings''' among others.
