Founded by Che deBoehmler following the demise of Spawn, The Veil are a dark atmospheric Sydney band drawing on elements of doom, post-punk/goth, black metal & early 90s death metal.
Sydney, NSW, 2006

Early live performances of note included a Sydney support with Alchemist in late 2007, and an appearance with Nazxul as the main support for their Iconoclast album launch in October 2009. After playing live with the band from February 2009 through to late 2010 and laying down drum tracks for the debut album, drummer Ryan Buesnel (formerly of The Eternal) departed the lineup, with Dan Nahum (Ironwood, Bleakwood, Sword Toward Self) subsequently joining in early 2011.
