Band Information

Malice was a black metal band from Nowra in southern NSW. Since its early beginnings in 1997, Malice has had a rather convoluted history. Featuring Maddroc from Secratain on guitar and Noctomus on vocals, Malice later recruited the vocalist's brother Azhael, Scott Graham on bass and Brett Hoy on drums. By the year 2001 the band was down to the Smiths and a drum machine, and as such recorded an EP that wasn't immediately released. Soon, Malice had accumulated some new members in Azgard on guitar, Daniel on drums and Richie on bass. Malice began to develop a small following but in 2002 Noctomus left, leaving them without a speacialist vocalist. A few months later, Azhael went on to join Temtris as a side project (Azgard later also joined Temtris). Ex-Black Reign drummer Yatras and bassist Charun joined Malice in 2003. Yatras didn't stay with the band moving onto Nazxul and later Dungeon/LORD. Daniel returned to the band and remained until they disbanded.

The band announced it had split up in March 2005.

Azgard (Aaron) and Charun (Ray) currently play in Bane of Isildur.
