Band Information

After Damaged split at the beginning of 2004, founding member Matt "Skitz" Sanders joined Walk the Earth with original Damaged vocalist James Ludbrook and Superheist guitarist DW Norton. By mid-05 that band had split after Ludbrook left; almost 12 months later, the ex-Damaged pair teamed up once more to reform their former band; however after a short time they decided to call the new group Terrorust.

This band is really a redefinition and extension of what they had done in the past: a blitzkrieg relentless assault of death, black and grind and a complete disregard for trends or anything else. Post Mortal Archives featured guest vocals by Tony from Blood Duster, Damon from Bestial Warlust and Jay from Fuck... I'm Dead and arrived in mid-2006 in a limited edition of 1000 and Dave Howells joined the band as a second guitarist. Terrorust played at the Festival of the Dead in Sydney despite Howells quitting the night before. Andrew Gillon of Abominator was then recruited for a tour with Deicide. By early 2007, Ludbrook was gone, replaced by Stormer (who had done some vocals on the album) in late February, in time for Brisbane's Overcranked festival. The band then played shows with Nile and Decapitated in mid-2007. Gillon has since departed and has been replaced by ex-Manticore member Steve Watts.
