Band information

Killrazer is a Sydney death and thrash band formed in 2005 after Dalton, Mrakic and McCartney left Dark Order. McCartney had to leave the band after only a short time and Vaticide members Luke Cook and Symon Al-haddad joined. This line-up was short-lived also as Cook was also busy with Mortal Sin and Alhaddad in Switchblade. Former Infernal Method pair Andrew Lilley and Grahame Goode replaced them in late 2006. Killrazer opened for Vader in Sydney and Melbourne in 2007, their first ever shows. They supported Sodom later in the year, after which Lilley left. Jimmy Lardner-Brown from Vaticide replaced Lilley in October 2007 and shortly afterward was named the winner of Australian Guitar Magazine's Best Guitarist Competition.

During 2008 the band played shows with Children of Bodom and an EP was released in December. In April 2009 Killrazer supported Krisiun and Malevolent Creation and were announced as Paul Di'anno's backing band for his tour in May. Just before those shows Goode left the band and Peter Hunt of Paindivision and Razor of Occam filled in for the tour. Killrazer appeared at Screamfest in 2010 with new drummer Paul Ibbotson and once again toured Australia with Paul Di'anno. When Ibbotson left due to injury, Grahame Goode returned to complete live commitments until 2012 when Josh Brazewell joined Killrazer. During 2014 the band toured with Coroner. Since then Killrazer has faced an on-again, off-again existence. The Burial Begins was started/completed in 2014, but wasn't released until 2021. In the meantime, Lardner-Brown was let go sometime after the album was finished. In late 2022 they played in Sydney with Soilwork.
