Band Information
Formerly known as Elysium but changing their name to avoid confusion with several other bands also called Elysium, Stone Wings was an epic doom band from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. The band featured at Bloodlust and completed the Bird of Stone Wings after several years of sessions. Stone Wings played occasionally but Stuart Prickett became involved in several other doom-related bands including The Slow Death and featured as Mournful Congregation's live guitarist for several years.
