The Soundwave Festival showcases alternative and metal bands from overseas, but generally a token local act from each state appears early in the program. In 2014, the local roster was expanded to include I Killed the Prom Queen, Thy Art is Murder, Darkc3ll, In Hearts Wake and Dream on, Dreamer.
