Mortality | Mortality was a thrash and death metal band from Sydney. The band originated around the core of Darren Maloney, Luke Ford and Darren Jenkins in the early 1990s as a five piece unit the line-up settled down as a quartet with Rick Fuda on drums. A national tour and supports with the likes of '''Sepultura''' along with a string of successful demos raised Mortality's profile Australia-wide. Upheavals occurred in 1994 with the replacement of Fuda by former [[Kilswitch]] drummer Steve Pell, and then of Jenkins, who joined [[Cryogenic]] in 1996, by Craig Figl.
