Band information

After nine years as As Silence Breaks, the band changed its name in mid-2014 to reflect both a change in musical direction to melodic death approach, and the final departure of all previous founding members. Daemon Pyre then issued a debut album in early 2015 and embarked on a national tour with Hadal Maw, visited Indonesia and opened for Claim the Throne, King Parrot, Orpheus Omega, Psycroptic and The Haunted and appeared at the Metal Heart and Dead of Winter festivals. In 2018, Sam Rilatt decided to retire from music and the band effectively came to an end after a final performance with Cattle Decapitation. Before emigrating to the US, Andrew Lilley reconvened with the rest of the band's members, including Rilatt, and completed the recording of a second album, which was released in early 2020.
