Beginning as a continuation of Taylor’s former band Oni, Tzun Tzu is an Adelaide death metal unit. Seja from Juggermath and Blake from StarGazer completed the line-up that recorded the "Without Zen" EP, with O’Donohue (ex-Miscreation) adding samples with an Oriental feel. After this drummer Wild and Ritchie from DEADpool came on board. Early in 2007 the band was working on another release with guest taiko drumming from Adrian Bickle of Chalice and Selen Gol from Juggermath. Late that year the group supported Behemoth. The "Kunoichi" EP was released in May 2008, ahead of the band's support slot with Dismember. Wild was replaced by Gol around this time and Tzun Tzu went on to open for Carcass, Grave and Krisiun over the next six months while completing a split release with Ignivomous and working on a new album that was released in 2012.

Band information

Beginning as a continuation of Don Taylor’s former band Oni, Tzun Tzu is an Adelaide death metal unit. Nick Seja from Juggermath and Denny Blake from StarGazer completed the line-up that recorded the "Without Zen" EP, with O’Donohue (ex-Miscreation) adding samples with an Oriental feel. After this drummer Dan Wild and Adam Ritchie from DEADpool came on board.
