History

Slaughterfest is a festival for grind, sludge and death metal bands established by Grindhead Records in 2007. The first event was held in February at the Empire of Annandale in Sydney and the following year moved to Sydney Uni with a second show in Canberra, a format that continued the following year, although the 2011 event was only a single show.
