Nazxul is a black metal band from Sydney. Originally a studio project for several years, a demo was in 1994 issued before the appearance of the ''Totem'' album which featured Lachlan Mitchell, Adrian Henderson, Greg Morelli from [[Grungeon]], Steve Hughes from [[Slaughter Lord]] and Dalibor Backovic on bass and vocals. Nazxul is a black metal band from Sydney. Originally a studio project for several years, a demo was in 1994 issued before the appearance of the Totem album which featured Lachlan Mitchell, Adrian Henderson, Greg Morelli from Grungeon, Steve Hughes from Slaughter Lord and Dalibor Backovic on bass and vocals. The band played their first ever gigs in 1998. By now Rev. Kriss Hades from Sadistik Exekution had joined on guitar and Morte from Bestianity was the band's vocalist, with Henderson taking over the bass role. Hughes left the band after these shows and in early 1999 was replaced by Front End Loader drummer Pete Kostic.
