History

LOUD! was a Sydney-based fanzine established in early 1996. It was produced sporadically, monthly at first, then every three months until late 1998. After disappearing for a year or so, LOUD! was relaunched in 1999 and continued until June 2003 when it was announced that Issue #35 would be the last. In August 2004, however, the magazine again re-appeared, celebrating a decade of existence with Issue #40 in March 2006. LOUD! has been dormant since the 42nd edition and has in fact been supplant by Loud Australia Magazine, due for release of its first issue in May 2009.
