History

Brisbane-based publication The Fallout Magazine started in 2005 as a newsletter for local bands, before expanding to an A4 magazine in late 2006.

Printed in black-and-white, The Fallout contains interviews and reviews of bands from the Australian scene and overseas, and also features segments on cult and obscure metal groups, with one disbanded cult metal group gracing each edition. The Fallout also took part in an international fanzine convention held in Germany in 2008.
